FILMOP SUPPORTS AIRC CANCER RESEARCH FOUNDATION

For years Filmop International has chosen to support the AIRC Foundation and paediatric cancer research by supporting the 'Christmas Gifts' initiative. The research support is renewed annually during Christmas and is intended as a concrete contribution to the valuable work carried out by researchers.

Unfortunately, every year many children and young people are affected by cancers that are a threat to their future. It is estimated that in Italy, from 2016 to 2020, 7000 cancers were diagnosed among children and 4000 among adolescents.

Fortunately, less and less children and young people up to the age of 19 are being beaten by cancer and the cure rate now exceeds 80%. It is therefore crucial to continue to rely on research, dedicated to offering them increasingly effective and less toxic cures and therapies.
